Workshop 1 – Demonstration of CSR Project Management Technology Solutions

This workshop will demonstrate how to use technology to bring efficiency in CSR program management and meet stakeholder demands. CSR projects can span from a few months to years and it might take a decade for impact to be seen. Technology can help ease monitoring and evaluation of these projects and gain meaningful insights to improve the future programs. If correctly implemented it can help increase engagement and build impact.

Workshop 2 – Legal Health Checkup for NGOs

Is your organization legally compliant? No clarity but lots of confusion! With the non-profit, subject to various regulations and compliance, how does senior management keep well informed? This free-wheeling interaction, will help you analyse and navigate the legal maze while cutting through the clutter.

This interactive workshop aims to help you analyze, understand and provide clarity on the legal health status of your organisation around: governance, employment, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, commercial contracts and other related aspects of your organization.

Workshop 3 – Monitoring & Evaluation & Launch of Maharashtra Chapter of ECOI

Monitoring & Evaluation has become a key requirement of CSR projects as mandated by the Companies Act 2013.  The Evaluation Community of India (ECOI) seeks to promote knowledge sharing in the area of monitoring and evaluation to promote high quality, credible and useful evaluations which can improve effectiveness of development programs and policies. The Community will contribute to formal capacity building at various levels, advocating demand for and practice of evaluation, and developing competencies by synthesizing national and international practices and experiences. The Maharashtra Chapter of ECOI will be launched and memberships offered to practitioners in the region.

Workshop 4 – Technology & Media for Social Impact

Technological and Social Media interventions are now a part and parcel of everyday living. There is not a single aspect of human life that is not under the ambit of such interventions. Achieving greater social impact through these mediums, however, requires a keen grasp of the various nuanced approaches and available tools at our disposal. This workshop will acquaint the participants with the various aspects of tech and media so that it may be harnessed effectively for innovation and social impact.

Workshop 5 – Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Social innovation is currently a fashionable term in India but there is little clarity on what it is or how you enable it. This interactive session explores social innovation in three ways: we review what social innovation is, and why it is it useful in the context of India; we look at tools that are useful for social innovation in the development and impact sector; and we finish by discussing the kind of support ecosystem that would be useful to further enable social innovation.

Workshop 6 – Sexual Harassment @ Workplace

Despite legislative interventions the matter of sexual harassment at the workplace has received very little attention in the developmental agenda. Often, the priority given to the matter is also pejorative rather than a constructive one. The aim is to build a constructive mechanism for creating gender just workspaces that do not discriminate or harm in anyway, while also recognizing the structural disadvantages faced by people from marginalized genders and sexual orientations.

Workshop 7 – Fundraising for NGOs
